There is Always Enough Time

100_5215Today I received this daily Note from The Universe and just as the new day was beginning my mind was also awakened to a new understanding.
“You only ever have to do what you’re capable of doing, because by design, no matter how things appear, you’ll always have enough time to do it, you’ll do even better than you would have thought, and life will get even richer than you could have imagined. ” From  A Note to the Universe

My take is- if I do and be what is meaningful to my growth and understanding of life now, then the time to pursue it will absolutely be there. The Universe promises me abundance and is the source of all my supply, which includes time. The other things that seem important to me in my ego self will fall away.

The ego won’t be hooked when my focus is on the path to realization. There will always be enough time because time will expand when I am consciously seeking and receiving. It contracts when I am unconscious and engaged in avoidance and self-centered thoughts and actions.

When I think I don’t have enough time, it can feel overwhelming, crazy-making and tense. The One would not give me that, it is my ego that provides that. John Randolf Price eloquently writes about this self-made dilemma, “Until you transcend the ego, you can do nothing but add to the insanity of the world. That statement should delight you rather than create despair, for it removes the burden from your shoulders.” A Spiritual Philosophy for the New World.

Prompt for today- There will be always enough time for becoming our realized self. What can you let go of now?

That old ego habit of thinking that I must “defend” a decision in light of what others “expect” of me (or even just what I “think” others expect of me!) drives me crazy! It seems I “had” to put myself thru a lot of pain (again) this past year before I got the lesson once more of trusting my own “inner knowing” and to step out in faith without defending my decisions with a lot of unnecessary words/excuses. When I finally get it ….KNOW…..when something IS to BE and I simply STEP INTO that knowing, time changes. That is, I experience time differently. It’s amazing! Why is this so hard to practice! Because I’m an Emerging Being clothed in human form? Rhetorical question, you bet.

I found when I set a schedule of things to write about for my sites I felt pressed and uninspired.

Now I have some articles in mind but often I am just inspired to write something by an event, experience or something I read. That kind of writing just flows.

Even when I do have something I plan to write I don’t put a deadline on it. I find if I write when I’m in the mood it goes much better.
